Summary

Bai Ze observes a strange phenomenon where people around him seem possessed, their eyes rolling back as they walk deeper into a passage. He decides to carry the unconscious Little Guan and follow them, realizing that his meditation alone may have spared him from the emotional turmoil affecting others. Upon discovering small holes beneath Guan, Bai Ze encounters a tiny, aggressive mouse, which he swiftly crushes, suspecting a connection to the group's condition. As they proceed, they are surrounded by numerous mice, led by a larger white mouse that seems to control the others. The group’s trance-like state is linked to these mice, which appear to emit a toxin affecting their emotions. Bai Ze grapples with the bizarre occurrences in the Zhang Family's ancient building.
