Summary

Huilong Town, once a thriving port, has fallen into disrepair after its residents were relocated following the Goguryeo campaign. A fleet of cargo ships carrying supplies for Goguryeo troops approaches the town but is ambushed by Sui army warships. Despite the crew's attempts to retreat, they are surrounded and forced to surrender after a cargo ship is sunk. The Sui commander, Zhou Meng, successfully intercepts the supply ships, sending them to Beihai County. Meanwhile, Goguryeo troops, led by Han Qi Ming, arrive at the abandoned town expecting supplies but find nothing, realizing the grave mistake of not scouting ahead. Faced with despair, Han Qi Ming orders the army to march towards Beishe City.
