Summary

In Luofeng City, now ruled by Li Hang Zai, the newly titled Carefree King, the situation is dire. After enduring hardships as a bandit and puppet, he arrives to find a city plagued by poverty and chaos, with most able-bodied men missing due to piracy and banditry. Li Hang Zai struggles with survival, lacking resources and servants, and faces immediate danger as pirates raid the city. Despite being outnumbered, he bravely confronts the pirates to protect the citizens. A young warrior named Qi Ji Guang joins him in the fight, and together they repel the attackers. Qi Ji Guang pledges loyalty to Li Hang Zai, marking the beginning of a potential alliance.
