Chapter 50: Exposed. [49]
Summary
Duck blood vermicelli soup, primarily made with low-quality duck blood, liver, and intestines, is enhanced through cooking but remains subpar. The vermicelli, made from sweet potato starch and groundwater, is also of low quality. Surprisingly, the soup uses mineral water instead of tap water, which improves its taste. Gu Zheng evaluates the soup while reflecting on his earlier meal of fried eggs. After a brief encounter with Jin Si Yan Jing, who insists on taking him to the hospital, Gu Zheng reveals he is a food critic and won't return to selling fried eggs. Jin Si Yan Jing, however, requests a fried egg, showcasing his fondness for Gu Zheng's cooking.Full content
