Summary

In the Unending Palace, Chang Sun is awakened by urgent knocks from Qing Ning, who brings alarming news about a celestial event involving the Heart Star and a comet, foretelling calamity. Despite her calm demeanor, Chang Sun senses the gravity of the situation and orders the immediate arrival of Ning Chen, who had previously mentioned the stars. Upon his arrival, Ning Chen, initially flustered, tries to navigate the tense atmosphere while downplaying his knowledge of astrology. Chang Sun, however, is not easily convinced and presses him for certainty about the impending disaster. After some back and forth, Ning Chen assures her of the event's certainty. Chang Sun, now resolute, decides to act, leaving Ning Chen bewildered about how to return home. Meanwhile, he finds Mu Cheng Xue asleep in his bed, leading to a humorous yet tense moment as he contemplates his situation.
