Summary

In the Third Update, Xing Jue, previously a slave, emerges as a commander, shocking his former peers. Hao Yan, who had oppressed him, is captured and confronted by Lei Hang, who reveals that Hao Yan's grandfather has been executed. Xing Jue forces Hao Yan to drink foot-soaking water as punishment, showcasing his newfound power and authority. Despite his anger, Hao Yan complies to protect his grandfather. Xing Jue ultimately decides to demote Hao Yan rather than punish him further, recognizing his familial loyalty.
