Summary

Zhao Yi discovers a mysterious black hair with structured damage that obstructs his vision, hinting at protective barriers in the Hong Mu Temple. Amidst a storm, monks chant for the deceased abbot, Hui Fa reassures them of the sealed malevolence. However, one monk, Hui Pu, succumbs to fatigue and falls asleep. As he awakens, he finds the candles extinguished and his fellow monks frozen in icy terror. Panic ensues when he realizes the doors have vanished, trapping him inside. Haunting voices surround him, but a familiar voice calms him. Yet, when he turns, he sees his fellow monks with twisted necks and the abbot rising from the coffin, leading to a horrifying confrontation.
