Summary

Zhao Yi's firm stance surprises Xu Sheng Zhi, who warns him against killing a certain individual, fearing the ensuing trouble. Zhao Yi then enters a mysterious temple, encountering a wooden monk pleading for help. Inside, he learns of a supernatural entity sealed within the temple, which must be contained until Master Nan Jia arrives in seven days. As Zhao Yi settles in, he shares a meal with a young monk, Hui Jiao, who warns him about the dangers of the night.
