Summary

Han Qi Xiu leaves to attend to something, instructing his siblings to take care of Shen Jiao. Han Qi Wei eagerly promises to protect her. After healing from a wound, Han Qi Xiu has become more affectionate, especially towards Shen Jiao, who has joined their family. The group deals with the scorching heat in Nanping City, and Shen Jiao suggests taking a break for ice cream. They visit an ice cream shop where Shen Jiao treats everyone, ordering multiple flavors. After enjoying the ice cream, they head to a department store to buy supplies and foreign goods with remittance vouchers that Shen Jiao received from Han Qi Xiu. In the store, Shen Jiao buys fabric to make colorful clothes for her younger siblings. They later visit an upscale overseas Chinese shop where Shen Jiao purchases imported snacks. While there, they encounter Han De Ya and a tall, masked man, sparking Shen Jiao's curiosity about the man's identity.
