Summary

Shen Jiao expresses her anger towards Han Qi Xiu's past experiences, comforting him about the judgments he faced after a violent incident. Han Qi Xiu reveals his long-term illness stemming from trauma, which improved during his military service but worsened upon meeting Shen Jiao. They discuss Jin Yu Qin, Han Qi Xiu's mother, and her abandonment of him, with Shen Jiao urging Han Qi Xiu to confront her. Han Qi Xiu, however, chooses to sever ties with her, believing it’s better to repay her past kindness. Shen Jiao vows to support him, determined to unite the Han family against Jin Yu Qin.
