Summary

In the aftermath of a hunting expedition, Li Shi Min returns to the palace, easing Li Yu's worries about Chiba's obsessive attempts on his life. Despite the Tang family's rise, Chiba's vendetta against Li Shi Min is misguided. The autumn hunt improves relations between Li Shi Min and his father, Li Yuan, who cleverly redirects the honor of driving the chariot to his grandson, Li Cheng Qian. Meanwhile, Chiba and her allies, Mo Bai Yan and Feng Er Zhi, plot to infiltrate the palace, believing they can succeed where previous attempts failed.
