Summary

Old Ma enters a dimly lit bedroom, where a massive figure, Tian Lan Zhen, sits in silence. After a brief exchange about Old Ma's night out with Lu Chen, Tian Lan Zhen questions Old Ma's trust in Lu Chen. Old Ma reassures him of his trust, reflecting on Lu Chen's earlier response to a similar question. Meanwhile, Lu Chen, with his dog A Tu, senses something amiss but remains calm, believing Old Ma won't harm him. The next morning, Old Ma and Lu Chen share a light-hearted breakfast, discussing their plans to fulfill their tasks for the true lord. Lu Chen suggests Old Ma negotiate with Blood Night for funds while he investigates clues about the demonic sect. Old Ma agrees and prepares to leave.
