Summary

Shuang Gou and his men prepare the city for a potential siege by transporting supplies and informing the court of their situation. The Youqiong Clan's general sets up ambush formations and waits for the Yi Emperor's family alliance's troops to retreat. The Yinghe Clan's leader orders the Wu Clan's commander to pursue the retreating court's forces, but they fall into the Youqiong Clan's general's ambush and are defeated. The Wu Clan's commander retreats, and the Youqiong Clan's general and his allies chase them back to the Xia family's Wang Ji new city. The Yinghe Clan's leader reorganizes his troops and orders the Western Qiang King to lead the pursuit of the court's army.
