Summary

Zhang Ye was at the CCTV No. 1 Studio, helping with the musical arrangements for Zhang Yuan Qi's song. He couldn't go home as the composer still needed his input. Zhang Ye caught sight of Li An Xu, a Korean idol singer, and felt displeased as he was one of the reasons Zhang Xia and others couldn't perform on the Spring Festival gala. Zhang Ye was approached by a female reporter who asked about his presence, but he remained tight-lipped. Later, Zhang Yuan Qi called and sent him a demo of the accompaniment, asking for his feedback. Zhang Ye suggested adding a drumbeat and a piano part. Zhang Xia and Zhang Yuan Qi then rushed back to the studio to meet with the Spring Festival Gala Director Peng Yi Yu. They presented their new work, a duet, to the director's team, who were skeptical at first but polite due to the singers' fame. Zhang Yuan Qi and Zhang Xia sang a simple song, with Zhang Xia's clear and melodious voice and Zhang Yuan Qi accompanying her on the piano.
