Summary

Li Yan Qing and Zhou Wen Yuan, aided by Hu Qing Er, successfully leave the city without incident. Hu Qing Er gives Li Yan Qing military tokens to ensure safe passage as they head toward Pu Zhou. Despite Li Yan Qing's pleas for her to join them, Hu Qing Er declines, promising they will meet again. Shortly after, Hu Qing Er encounters Commander Wang Ying, who confronts her about Li Yan Qing's identity and his connection to her. After a tense exchange, she escapes, while Wang Ying seethes with jealousy and frustration. Meanwhile, Wang Ying reports to Song Jiang, who recognizes Li Yan Qing's significance and the potential threat he poses. Song Jiang is cautious, knowing that Hu Cheng, Hu Qing Er's father, is loyal to Liangshan and unlikely to betray them. He decides to speak with Hu Cheng about his daughter’s marriage, but Hu Qing Er storms in, vehemently rejecting the idea of marrying Wang Ying. This leads to an awkward confrontation, and Song Jiang leaves in anger. Afterward, Hu Qing Er expresses her suspicions about Song Jiang's loyalty to her father, suggesting he may have been involved in their family's troubles. They agree to keep their concerns private and plan to forge a new whip blade for her training.
