Summary

Qi receives news of the Ji leader's escape, which is expected given the tribal chiefs' ability to protect themselves. Dayu, while feigning shock at the news of the Ji leader's elimination, advises Yi to maintain harmony with the tribes. Yi, fearing Qi's ambitions, issues a decree to protect the royal envoys, but Qi uses this opportunity to set up an ambush. After learning the Ji leader is hiding with the Ying tribe, Qi consults Dayu, who suggests capturing the envoys to locate the Ji leader and attack the Ying tribe to eliminate the threat.
