Summary

Wang Ning An and Su Baniang encounter Xiao Guan Yin, a beautiful and talented woman from the Liao State, in a temple. She is revealed to be the queen of Ye Lu Hong Ji, but has been exiled and is almost starving to death. Wang Ning An recognizes her and discovers that she was sent to be a slave after her father, Xiao Hui, was punished for Ye Lu Hong Ji's defeat. She escaped and hid in the temple, where Wang Ning An and Su Baniang found her. Su Baniang decides to help Xiao Guan Yin, and Wang Ning An agrees to take her in, despite his initial hesitation. Xiao Guan Yin reveals her hatred towards Ye Lu Hong Ji and decides to follow Wang Ning An. As they approach the Song-Liao border, they are confronted by Ye Lu Hong Ji's iron cavalry, led by his dragon flag.
