Summary

Wang Ning An's cavalry arrives outside Youzhou, and he sends a message to Ye Lu Zhong Yuan, stating that he will only rest outside the city for one night and depart early in the morning. Zhong Yuan is disappointed and worried, as Wang Ning An is not willing to help him. Wang Ning An meets with Zhong Yuan and tells him that he is not interested in helping him, and that he will only talk to Ye Lu Hong Ji. Wang Ning An offers to release captives, lift sanctions, and open up iron exports, but Zhong Yuan is unwilling to agree. Wang Ning An reveals that he plans to take advantage of the struggle between Zhong Yuan and Ye Lu Hong Ji to seize the sixteen states of Yan Yun. Zhong Yuan realizes that he has no way out and begs Wang Ning An for help, offering to agree to any conditions. Wang Ning An agrees to provide weapons and food, but not troops, and demands that Zhong Yuan hand over the land of Yan Yun in exchange. Zhong Yuan is hesitant and tries to negotiate, but Wang Ning An is ruthless and unwilling to compromise.
