Summary

Deputy Supervisor Wang Ji and Captain Qian searched for the missing Nan Yue officials for three days without success. A local clan chief revealed that Nan Yue had been taken in by Da Zu Chang after an ambush by relatives of the Goyu Tribe's great lord, who sought revenge against Zhao Ting officials. Despite their intentions, the attackers were poorly equipped and unable to confront Zhao Ting forces directly. The clan chief, disapproving of the Goyu Tribe, welcomed Nan Yue and his entourage into his city, providing them with food and safety. During their meeting, Nan Yue discussed the Zhao Ting's new policies and the need for support against the Goyu Tribe's rebellion. The clan chief agreed to assist and promised to contact the Right Army's Deputy Supervisor for safe passage into the great lord's city. Meanwhile, the Right Army's Deputy Supervisor received orders from Zhao Ting to locate Nan Yue and eliminate any threats.
