Summary

Sui Jun's attempts to attack the bandit stronghold were thwarted, leading him to retreat as the bandits celebrated their victory. Meanwhile, Jin Long, imprisoned and injured, plotted an escape with the help of a loyal soldier who brought medicine and news of potential surrender among his men. Jin Long urged the soldier to seek out Madam Xu, hoping her leadership could rally the troops. Xu Shi, managing her husband's supplies, was initially fearful but was approached by loyal soldiers who informed her of Jin Long's situation. Jin Tai, intoxicated and lecherous, sought to take advantage of Xu Shi, but she and her allies devised a plan to kill him. As chaos erupted within the stronghold, Sui Jun prepared for a surprise attack, only to witness the bandits unexpectedly surrendering as the gates opened.
