Summary

Huo Yan reluctantly accepted the need to select a priest for the Black Fire Tribe, despite feeling that no suitable candidates existed. He worked closely with Lu Chen, who revealed that the tribe's black fire power was tied to the Fire God’s staff, which also allowed for control over future priests. Huo Yan began training new priests, but soon after, strange and deadly occurrences began, starting with the death of a candidate engulfed in black flames. This led to panic within the tribe, fueled by rumors of divine punishment. After several bizarre incidents, the remaining candidates stabilized and began to harness their powers. A year later, Huo Yan revealed a perilous path to the chaotic land in the north, which he had never traversed himself but had seen a giant beast emerge from. Despite the danger, Lu Chen decided to attempt the journey, intrigued by the beast's resemblance to a giant wolf.
