Summary

Shi Mu collects the beast soul from a demon bird he has slain, feeling satisfied with the number of souls he has gathered for Yan Luo, hoping she can help him master the powers of his Meteoric Iron Black Blade. Frustrated by her lack of response, he uses Spirit Stones to enhance the blade before taking off on his Azure Wing Flying Carriage, needing to return to Asuka City quickly to fulfill a delivery promise. In Asuka City, a meeting takes place at Han Yuan Pavilion between Wang Rui Kun, the lord Ling Hu Kuan, Zhong Xiu, and an enchanting woman. They discuss the shipment from Ri Kang City, with Ling Hu Kuan expressing concerns about delays and warning of consequences if the goods are not delivered on time.
