Summary

Di Feng, low on magical power after a chase, absorbs energy from a Spirit Stone while being pursued by Shi Mu. He tosses a jade box containing Star Stones into a misty valley, provoking a response from lurking demon beasts. Shi Mu, warned by Cai Er, prepares for battle as three massive blue demon birds attack. Using his Qi Spirit Shield, Shi Mu deflects their wind blades and retaliates with a giant golden sword, ultimately defeating the leader of the birds. The remaining two birds are also destroyed in explosive fashion. Shi Mu finds the jade box in the valley, retrieves the Star Stones, and captures the souls of the fallen demon birds before leaving the area.
