Summary

Ning Qiushui feels a deep sense of destiny to protect Bai Xiaoxiao, as instructed by a letter he received. Despite his feelings for her, he prioritizes his mission over personal emotions. Bai Xiaoxiao, understanding his nature, struggles with her feelings but recognizes the harsh realities of adulthood. After a brief, intense moment between them, they part ways, and Ning Qiushui prepares to visit Zhao Er at Spring Hope Asylum. Upon arrival, he senses an eerie chill and discovers unsettling signs of supernatural presence within the asylum.
