Summary

A group of Wu family knights, led by Wu Tong, the third son of the Wu family, pursues Shi Mu and Zhong Xiu after they escape in a carriage. Wu Tong, confident in their tracking abilities, sends his men into the woods to capture them. Meanwhile, Shi Mu, injured but determined, carries Zhong Xiu as they navigate the forest. Despite her protests, he refuses to abandon her, showing loyalty to his promise to Zhong Da Shu. As they reach the forest's edge, Shi Mu decides to confront their pursuers. He climbs a tree to ensure Zhong Xiu's safety before preparing to face the knights. The Wu family knights, exhausted from the chase, are led by a man with a scent bug that indicates Shi Mu's location, but tensions rise as they express frustration over their inability to catch him.
