Summary

In Gu Jia Village, five individuals explore an eerie, abandoned village at night, marked by a dried-up pond and dilapidated houses. They approach an ancestral hall, where tension rises as they confront their fears of the supernatural. Despite Pang Jun's anxiety about the village's dark history, the group presses on. Inside the hall, they discover ancestral tablets and remnants of offerings, but the atmosphere grows increasingly unsettling. Suddenly, a supernatural sound echoes, and black strands of hair emerge from a dry well, ensnaring Pang Jun in a terrifying moment. The chapter concludes with a sense of impending danger.
