Summary

Tang Xiu was surprised by Han Qing Wu's reaction regarding his request for leave, as she warned him about the strictness of Vice Dean Yue Bai Yi. Despite this, Tang Xiu decided to try for leave due to important matters. He later visited the library but learned that freshmen couldn't borrow books without a library card. After obtaining the necessary documents, he met with Professor Yue Bai Yi, who agreed to help him avoid military training and also clarified that freshmen could apply to live off-campus. After a lunch invitation, Tang Xiu returned to class, where classmates speculated about his relationship with Han Qing Wu. He planned to buy books with friends and learned about a classmate injured while helping an old lady, which garnered attention for their school.
