Summary

Tang Xiu is struck by the resemblance between Han Qing Wu and his wife from the Immortal Realm, Xue Qing Cheng, recalling their shared gestures and expressions. Disturbed, he leaves the classroom, seeking solace outside. He encounters two classmates and smokes a cigarette, reflecting on the uncanny similarities between the two women. Meanwhile, Han Qing Wu notices his absence and worries about him. After class, she finds Tang Xiu in a grove, where he shares his thoughts on the possibility of two worlds and identical individuals. Despite her attempts to engage him, he remains troubled and focused on finding the vice dean to request leave, leaving her puzzled about his intentions.
