Summary

The chapter introduces East Sea Academy, a prestigious institution divided into an intermediate and an advanced academy department. Liu Yu Xin, a student in the advanced department, guides Tang Wu Lin, a new student in the intermediate department, through the enrollment process. The intermediate academy offers compulsory education without tuition, while the advanced academy requires passing strict exams. Upon entering the academy, Tang Wu Lin learns about the academy's structure and receives his enrollment materials. He moves into a dormitory shared with two other students: the imposing Zhou Chang Xi and the scholarly Yun Xiao. Tensions arise when Zhou Chang Xi bullies Tang Wu Lin by scattering his belongings and disrespecting a cherished blanket embroidered by his sister, prompting Tang Wu Lin to confront him.
