Summary

Shi Mu observes Zhong Xiu's residence and notices the unusual silence after Wei enters. He remains hidden as Leng Yue Tong, appearing cheerful, passes by but doesn't notice him. Soon after, an old man in black, identified as Yun Yang, arrives with members of the Yi He tribe, causing Shi Mu concern about their intentions. Ling Chuo, an old friend of Yun Yang, recognizes him, and they exchange pleasantries. Yun Yang invites Zhong Xiu to join him for drinks and discuss business, which she initially declines but later agrees to after realizing the potential benefits for her merchant association. As Zhong Xiu prepares to leave with Yun Yang and Ling Chuo, Shi Mu is puzzled by her decision, suspecting she may not believe his warnings about the Yi He tribe. He decides to follow them, while the guards at the inn remain vigilant against the outsiders.
