Summary

Jin Wu is devastated upon discovering the corpse of his son, Jin Tian, who has been killed. Despite the circumstances surrounding Jin Tian's death, Jin Wu demands revenge against Shi Mu, whom he blames for his son's demise. Jin Jia Jia Zhu attempts to reason with him, but Jin Wu's anger leads him to threaten to take matters into his own hands. The situation escalates until the Old Ancestor of the Jin family intervenes, asserting that they must take action to maintain their family's honor. He orders that Shi Mu be eliminated and that Qi Ya Tou be kept under close watch. Jin Wu eagerly prepares to pursue Shi Mu with tracking hounds. Meanwhile, Shi Mu is fleeing with Zhong Xiu, who expresses concern for her safety. Shi Mu insists on taking her with him, knowing the danger she would face if left behind, and acknowledges the need to escape Quanzhou to ensure her safety.
