Summary

In a grim narrative, a group led by Qiu Fu succumbs to desperation as they resort to violence for survival, ultimately leading to Qiu Fu's violent demise at the hands of Liu. Liu rises as a leader, guiding the remaining survivors to a Nationalist army camp where they secure rations and a new beginning. Years later, Liu builds an ancestral hall to honor the deceased, unknowingly merging with dark mist that signifies lingering vengeance. As the narrative unfolds, a humanoid smoke emerges, echoing the cries of the wronged souls, demanding retribution against the descendants of their tormentors.
