Summary

Qiu Fu faces a dire food shortage and reluctantly decides to sacrifice the elderly for survival, promising not to harm children. Despite the gruesome actions, the survivors are too terrified to eat the resulting meat soup, knowing its origins. While Qiu Fu and his followers openly consume the meat, the rest of the group remains paralyzed by fear. Over time, Qiu Fu’s power grows as he continues to lead this group of famine survivors, killing and consuming more people to sustain themselves, which generates a dark mist that grows larger with each act of cannibalism. As their numbers dwindle, the black energy following them becomes a significant presence, marking their grim journey through desperation and survival.
