Summary

In the cold storage, Ximen Lian and Xiong Wan Yi encounter Sun Pang Zi and discuss the investigation into recent deaths. Old Mo, the coroner, is inside conducting an autopsy, and as police officers exit in distress, the gravity of the situation becomes clear. Yang Xiao, having studied forensic science, offers to assist Old Mo, while villagers gather outside, curious about the investigation. Tan Cun Chang explains the local dialect's origins. Later, Old Mo reveals test results are pending, and Yang Xiao discovers five bodies in the storage. One corpse shows signs of a torn soul, indicating a supernatural element at play, although it's not from a vengeful spirit.
