Summary

During an evening in Xingjia Village, Han Zhu and Ye Gelu arrived to oversee a large construction project by Fenglan Group. While investigating collapsed houses, Ye Gelu discovered modified detonators hidden in the walls, indicating foul play. The village was mostly deserted, with only elderly residents remaining. After their car tires were slashed, they sought shelter from an unwelcoming village head, eventually being taken in by an elderly woman.
