The Great Idle Person of the Zhenguan Era.

Chapter 3: A Small Flaw in the White Jade. [4]

Summary

Li Su, a man who had been reborn into the Tang Dynasty's Zhenguan era, struggled to come to terms with his new life. He felt a sense of disorientation and turmoil, but as he carried a heavy sack of millet on his back, he began to feel a sense of solidity and existence. He realized that he had become a part of this new world and decided to make the most of it. Li Su started to appreciate the small things in life, like the millet he carried, the grain container, and the sun shining in the sky. He felt a sense of calm wash over him and began to work hard, determined to live a good life. As he worked, Li Su's thoughts turned to his past life and how he had wasted food and taken things for granted. He felt a strong urge to slap himself for his past recklessness, but instead, he focused on his new life. He cooked a meal, using noodles and wild vegetables, which were staple foods in Guanzhong. Li Su didn't like eating wild vegetables, but he knew they were a part of the local culture. As he worked in the kitchen, Li Su's eyes fell on a pile of firewood in the corner. He felt a pang of confusion and struggled to resist the urge to look at it. Eventually, he gave in and began to rearrange the firewood, organizing it neatly. This compulsive behavior brought him a sense of joy and relaxation. Li Su realized that he had a compulsive disorder, but it also brought him a sense of control and order in his new life.
