Summary

In a tense confrontation, Sun Pang Zi attempts to subdue the Ye Ren with a gun and crossbow, but the Ye Ren's agility allows him to evade critical strikes, sustaining only a neck wound that begins to heal rapidly. As the chase ensues through a dark passage, Sun Pang Zi and his companion follow a blood trail leading to a chaotic warehouse filled with various items. They find themselves in a library but struggle to locate the Ye Ren until they discover a wall concealing a wild man and an alchemy furnace. Sun Pang Zi targets the wild man with crossbow bolts, successfully hitting him in the chest, but shockingly, no blood emerges from the wound, hinting at the wild man's resilience or supernatural abilities.
