Chapter 278: Wear a Crown and a Hat (Part 2). [285]

Summary

Li Su's coronation ceremony was being held, with Niu Jin Da as the main guest, Li Dao Zheng and Li Su as the hosts, and Cheng Yaojin and the other generals as the guests of honor. The ceremony was a formal Han ceremony with strict etiquette rules. Niu Jin Da gave a solemn speech about the importance of wearing a hat, dressing with dignity, and behaving with respect and awe. He then performed the Threefold Ceremony, where Li Su was given a Liang Crown and changed into a crimson official robe, leather belt, and dark boots. After the ceremony, Li Su made a bow to the host, his father, the guests, and the people who came to attend the ceremony. Niu Jin Da then gave Li Su a courtesy name, hoping that he would remain true to himself and avoid taking the wrong path as he took his place on the political stage.
