Chapter 275: "Hero Bai Wa in Front of the Chrysanthemum Array". [277]

Summary

Bai Wa, the commander of the third echelon, blocks the Daishan Swordsman from aiding the Guandou army during a critical battle. He and the Xiahou Guard coordinate their forces to trap the Four Immortal Swordsmen in the Chrysanthemum Formation. As the Daishan Swordsman seeks to break through, Bai Wa confronts him, engaging in a fierce duel. Despite initially holding his ground, Bai Wa is eventually overwhelmed and chooses to fight to the death, launching a counterattack with his ultimate move, the Flying Hook. Both warriors are gravely injured in the clash. As chaos ensues, the Four Immortal disciples rescue their master, and Elder Guandou rallies his troops to counter the imperial court's assault.
