Summary

The chapter revolves around the black-clothed messenger and the observer, who are being chased by four figures with gouged-out eyes, including Xin Chun, a body used by Dalton Sai Si in the village. The four figures are unable to see, but they can sense their surroundings and are trying to catch the two men. The black-clothed messenger and the observer use a strategy to escape, but they soon realize that they are trapped in a one-dimensional world where they can only move forward. They manage to fend off the four figures and escape, but not before the observer is touched by one of them. Meanwhile, other villagers are also encountering the four figures, including a villager in a yellow-brown robe, a group of villagers with tools, and "A Rui Si", who recognizes the three adult villagers as friends of Ji Li, a blasphemer. "A Rui Si" is seeking revenge and decides to attack the four figures. Zhou Zhen, another character, is walking through the foggy village and comes across the blacksmith's shop, which is eerily quiet. He tries to enter the shop but finds it abandoned and decides to use a technique to recover his "digital energy".
