Summary

Bai Lian learns from Lu Chen that the vine monsters protect the evil snake vine tree, which corrupts surrounding flora and poses a danger to anyone who enters the area. Despite the tree's beauty, its nature is sinister, and the vines attack intruders. Lu Chen explains that the tree sap can help them avoid the vines' attacks, leading them to cover themselves in the sap. As they cautiously navigate through the forest, they realize the sap is effective, allowing them to escape the immediate threat. However, as they emerge from the forest, they encounter a group of men in black, surrounding them with hostile intent.
