Summary

Xu Yan realizes the group must rest to recover from their exhaustion after a perilous escape from the Queen of the Abyss. They find a cave to recuperate, but tensions rise as Yi Sa blames herself for their predicament. Wu Xie encourages teamwork and suggests scouting for resources. Xu Yan discovers a secret chamber containing a stone box and two corpses. A mural reveals one among them is not human and predicts that one will open the box. Yi Sa unexpectedly opens it, revealing another box with engravings foretelling that one among them is a demon intent on killing the others. They must identify and eliminate this threat to survive.
