Summary

Xu Yan extends his divine consciousness toward the Corpse Fragrance Devil Tuber, discovering a powerful energy core within. Despite a suggestion from Wu Xie to use sword techniques against it, Xu Yan realizes the danger of the roots beneath. They find strange runes that may hold the key to restraining the Tuber. Suddenly, blood-red liquid transforms into the Bi An Hua flowers, which release a dizzying scent, threatening to control them. Zhang Qiling warns of the flowers' deadly nature. In a desperate attempt, Xu Yan uses the Sword Control Technique and a flame talisman to combat the Bi An Hua, ultimately withering it down. The group, exhausted but relieved, knows the threat is not yet over as the Tuber still blooms.
