Summary

In the imperial capital, as winter gives way to spring, a group of snake people bid farewell to Bu Fang’s small, aroma-filled shop. Having failed as guardians, they return to their tribe, while Bu Fang sees potential in Yu Fu’s culinary skills and offers her an apprenticeship through a fried rice test. Simultaneously, excitement brews at the Ouyang residence where Xiaoyi, eager to prove herself, prepares her first egg fried rice.
