Chapter 229: "Iron Head Double Axe and Three-edged Copper Mace". [231]

Summary

Tie Tou's pursuit of the mountain crab, who fled after realizing his weapon could not withstand Tie Tou's double axes, led him to the enemy's main camp. There, he faced the mountain crab's brothers, Suiten and Judi, but despite their efforts, they struggled against Tie Tou's overwhelming strength. As Tie Tou's cavalry arrived, Suiten and Judi feigned retreat to escape. After Tie Tou was forced to retreat due to a rain of arrows, the mountain crab reported their defeat to their father, the Great Crab Clan Chief, who was furious and initially ordered the mountain crab's execution. However, after pleas from other clan chiefs, the chief spared the mountain crab, relieving him of command but allowing him to defend the tribe. The mountain crab then switched to a three-pronged bronze mace to counter Tie Tou's axes and began training his soldiers with it. Meanwhile, the Huai Mountain tribe, led by their Great Lord, faced challenges in their assaults on the Jiuli tribe's camp and struggled with dwindling supplies, prompting them to seek provisions from nearby villagers.
