Chapter 228: "Blood Road Duel: The Record of Breaking the Camp at Huai Mountain". [230]

Summary

The chieftain of the Huai Shan tribe leads his army toward the Jiuli tribe's military camp, which is heavily fortified and presents a significant challenge for an attack. He contemplates a detour but decides against it due to logistical concerns regarding food supplies for his 30,000 troops. The Jiuli tribe, composed of nearly 20,000 soldiers from five clans, is determined to block the Huai Shan chieftain's advance. Ju Xie, the chieftain of the Liang Shan clan, decides to fortify the camp instead of engaging in battle. Meanwhile, his hot-tempered son, Kan Shan Xie, defies his father's orders and leads a charge against the Huai Shan cavalry, resulting in a fierce confrontation. Despite initially overwhelming Tie Tou's forces, Kan Shan Xie realizes he is outmatched and must reconsider his aggressive approach.
