Summary

In this intense narrative, Sun Wukong confronts the Killing Life Buddha and Manas Dragon King, easily defeating them despite their mid-Quasi-Saint cultivation. Tang Seng then destroys the Killing Life Buddha with a single lightning strike. The Buddha's Fruit Position is given to Bai Jingjing, a White Bone Spirit disciple, who absorbs its power and breaks through to the early quasi-saint realm, becoming the Bone Killing Murderous King Buddha. This event causes surprise among other Bodhisattvas, who are shocked by Tang Seng's ability to distribute powerful Buddha positions so casually.
