Summary

Tang Seng and his team encounter the Killing Buddha, a monk who has killed numerous innocent monks. Despite being a quasi-saintly figure, Tang Seng decides the Killing Buddha must be eliminated due to his indiscriminate killing. The team enters the city, captures the king who was targeting monks, and awakens the Killing Buddha's memories. As the Killing Buddha attempts to return to the Mystical Mountain, Sun Wukong prepares to attack him, revealing the team's true intentions are more complex than simply seeking scriptures.
