Summary

Li Yan Qing is approached by Wang Mi, who offers to buy his horse, but Li Yan Qing refuses. Tensions rise when a government officer, Yang Hu, arrives and tries to intimidate Li Yan Qing into complying with his demands. After a confrontation, Li Yan Qing reveals his martial prowess, forcing Yang Hu and his subordinates to back down. Li Yan Qing escapes on his horse, leaving Yang Hu injured and vengeful. Unbeknownst to Li Yan Qing, the area is under Liangshan's influence, and he checks into an inn using a false identity. He seeks information about Liangshan and Yang Hu from a clerk, who warns him about the dangers of discussing Liangshan and informs him of Yang Hu's past. Li Yan Qing gathers valuable information before preparing to continue his journey.
