Summary

Kobayashi encounters Ao Ta on the 17th floor of the Dungeon, who has defeated the Level 4 Goliath. Ao Ta tosses Kobayashi a longsword, and Kobayashi understands it as a challenge. Despite knowing he's no match for Ao Ta, Kobayashi decides to fight with all his might. The battle is intense, with Kobayashi using his skills and teleportation ability to try and gain the upper hand. However, Ao Ta effortlessly deflects his attacks. Kobayashi then uses a thread to bind Ao Ta, but Ao Ta breaks free and shatters the threads. Kobayashi attempts to use Explosive Magic, but Ao Ta neutralizes it. In the end, Ao Ta defeats Kobayashi, leaving him badly beaten. Despite the loss, Kobayashi gains proficiency and is grateful for the opportunity to fight a strong opponent. Ao Ta leaves, and Kobayashi is left to collect the valuable magic stones and materials dropped by the Goliath.
